About Lab Rescue
Lab Rescue OK, Inc. is a 100% volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Our mission is placing homeless and abandoned Labrador Retrievers in loving homes, encouraging population control and promoting responsible pet ownership.

For over 15 years our dedicated volunteers have rescued, fostered and adopted thousands of Labradors to loving 'forever' homes across Oklahoma, Southeastern Kansas, Southwestern Missouri and Northwestern Arkansas.

Lab Rescue's success only happens through the dedication and love of our volunteers, foster families, local animal rescue advocates, and those willing to open their hearts and homes to a rescued Labrador Retriever.
How to Adopt

STEP 1 - Find your new best friend:
  • Simply browse all of our available dogs online or visit one of our adoption events to find your new best friend
  • Review our adoption requirements
  • Complete and submit the online adoption application
  • Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted for a quick pre-adoption interview.  This usually takes 5-7 days.  (We understand and appreciate your eagerness, please have patience – we are a 100% volunteer organization.)
  • Then a Lab Rescue volunteer will visit your home confirming that placement requirements are met
